Today technology has become an inseparable part of our lives. In every field we live intertwined with technology and create demand for it. In the world of capitalism, the only way to earn an income is to see or create a demand and then come up with solutions that meet it. That's why scientists keep surprising us with technology every day. Discoveries are now made so fast that many of us can't keep up and just leave them aside. Today's topic is a study carried out by Michael Strano.
Michael Strano has connected technology and nature with a method none of us would ever think of. His new project is spinach that can send email. Yes, you read that right. In a world where many people still can't send an email, spinach will now be able to.
The question is: what can this be used for? What emails can spinach send?
The scientist's main goal is to use it for military purposes. This spinach will send information about the materials its roots touch underground. Landmines buried underground are one example. When this spinach detects any dangerous substance, it will give off special signals. These signals will be picked up by special infrared cameras, and an email will be sent depending on the situation.
Working with the spinach at the nano level, the scientist managed to influence its photosynthesis, and with that, the plants now detect the nitric oxide around them that causes explosions. Strano also noted that these plants are very sensitive and can sense every change in the air, water and soil.
So how useful do you think this technology is, and what could it be used for?
