Making money with programming is every developer's wish. Lately we hear the term freelance a lot. But this way of working still isn't widespread in Azerbaijan, while around the world many people earn money this way.
1. Become a freelancer
If, besides programming, you also have intermediate English, you can earn an income by taking jobs from UpWork, HackerEarth, Fiverr and many similar websites.
2. Promote your skills
As the internet grows, people showing their skills there can also bring them extra income. You can attract clients by being active on social networks, going live and building a professional-looking portfolio.
3. Grow your circle
Just as you can find clients online, people around you who believe in your skills can bring you clients too. In short: “Networking = successful sales”.
4. Become a teacher
Teaching others what you know both broadens your own knowledge and helps you become better known around you. It will also give you big support with the previous point, growing your circle.
5. Analyse
To make money with programming, you need to learn the language that's in demand at that time. Learning a language the region and the period don't need will make it hard to sell this skill. So when you learn a programming language, analyse the demand.
